‘Pink Slipper’s for a Lady’
Moccasin-Flower, Pink Lady-Slipper
I took this picture last week and figured it was time to post and share such beauty. One of the excitements of spring and early June is the joy that comes from finding these Pink Lady Slipper's growing out in our woods. Although they do not stay long, their beauty is much pleasing to the eye as the time of spring starts to come to a close and summer draws near. We are blessed that our woods grow an abundance of these in the bogs from water run-off as spring rain lends a hearty habitat of moisture for their growing and our viewing. Also called a Moccasin Flower, I can only say thanks for such glory as these do show.
