 Rustic Table Top

I’m posting another picture of this piece of maple that will yet become a table top of ‘wood art’.

And as I listen closely I can hear the wood speaking, “I am ‘artfully made’, ‘artfully designed’ and ‘artfully challenged’ to be the all I am”.

Just waiting now to think through the process of size and types of ‘butterfly joints’ to use in the distressed areas of the cracks. All in time and place, while there is a time and place for all as I say.
